Key Responsibilities
ER Programme Framework & Policy Management
- Execute and embed ER programme frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure fair, consistent, and compliant application across India.
- Localise global ER strategies to fit India's cultural, legal, and business context while maintaining corporate alignment.
- Partner with HR leadership and business stakeholders to coach HR teams on ER best practices.
- Continuously review and adapt ER policies to evolving business priorities and regulatory changes.
- Support the Regional Head of ER in defining and executing ER strategy for APAC.
Case Investigations & Management
- Independently oversee investigations, grievances, and disciplinary actions of all complexity levels.
- Mediate and facilitate resolutions for complex employee disputes, applying negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Manage cases related to under-performance, involuntary exits, and redundancies, ensuring compliance with Indian laws and global standards.
- Exercise sound judgment in decision-making, escalating sensitive or high-risk matters appropriately.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong collaborative relationships with HR leadership, Legal, and Ethics & Compliance teams.
- Act as a key ER advisor in disciplinary committees and internal governance forums.
- Influence and coach stakeholders to drive a positive ER culture aligned with company values.
Analysis & Reporting
- Utilize Case Management Systems to track ER cases, investigations, and outcomes.
- Monitor ER metrics to identify patterns, emerging risks, and improvement areas.
- Generate status reports and dashboards for HR partners and senior leadership.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance policies, engagement, and ER practices.
ER Training & Development
- Design and deliver training programs on ER topics such as POSH, conflict resolution, and effective communication.
