We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Cinematographer & Video Specialist who brings both technical excellence and creative vision to every frame. Someone who doesn't just record moments, but crafts compelling narratives through the lens.
Your Role
You will be our visual storyteller — the person behind the lens and in the edit suite who brings our brand's world to life. From cinematic office walkthroughs to powerful client testimonials, you'll own the end-to-end video production experience.
Responsibilities
Cinematography & Direction of Photography (DOP)
- Operate as the DOP — controlling camera angles, movement, composition, and visual grammar
- Set up professional lighting rigs that create mood, depth, and cinematic quality
- Select and operate cameras, lenses, gimbals, sliders, and stabilizers
- Bring a deliberate, story-driven visual approach to every shoot
Editing & Post-Production
- Craft polished, high-quality edits with seamless pacing and storytelling flow
- Perform professional colour grading and correction to match brand aesthetics
- Design and integrate motion graphics, text animations, and visual effects
- Handle sound design, audio mixing, music selection, and voice-over sync
Visual Storytelling
- Conceptualise and structure narratives — from raw concept to final cut
- Collaborate on scripts and storyboards that serve both brand and audience
- Understand brand tone and consistently translate it into visual language
- Bring a cinematographer's eye to interviews, walkthroughs, and events
Multi-Platform Content
- Edit and optimise videos for LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram Reels, and websites
- Adapt aspect ratios, pacing, and formats per platform requirements
- Deliver presentation-ready content for internal and client use
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with Zyeta's marketing and content teams
- Align all visual output with brand guidelines and messaging strategy
- Manage timelines and deliver high-quality output without compromise

Requirements
- 3+ years of professional video shooting and editing (portfolio required)
- Strong portfolio showcasing cinematic and storytelling work
- Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and/or DaVinci Resolve
- Skilled with professional camera systems and lighting setups
- Strong sense of visual composition, aesthetics, and sound design
- Experience shooting corporate spaces, client interviews, and events
- Must be based in Bangalore and available for on-site shoots
Nice to Have
- Drone / aerial cinematography
- Motion graphics and 2D animation
- Script writing and creative direction experience
- Live streaming and broadcast setup knowledge
