Who we're looking for:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented fraud analyst to join our growing team.The ideal candidate will have experience in fraud detection, investigation, and prevention, particularly within the financial services or fintech sectors. The candidate will play a critical role in protecting the organization and its customers from fraudulent activities by identifying suspicious behavior, investigating cases, and ensuring proper fraud prevention measures are implemented

Roles and Responsibilities:

Act as a liaison between the company, partner banks, Law Enforcement Agencies(LEAs), regulatory authorities, and other third-party stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant, and effective communication. Review fraud trends, complaints of customers related to fraud for the bank.

Review fraud trends and analyse customer complaints related to fraud incidents associated with partner banks.

Maintain trackers for responses provided to LEAs and partner banks.

Maintain trackers for responses and resolutions related to customer queries and fraud complaints.

Coordinate and manage communication between LEAs, internal teams, partnerbanks, and other stakeholders

Draft and review responses to LEA inquiries while ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies.

Ensure all communications are accurate, timely, and properly documented for audit and compliance purposes.

Track, escalate, and follow up on ongoing investigations and requests received from LEAs and partner banks.

Work closely with internal teams to gather necessary information, documentation, and evidence required for LEA requests.

Handle customer queries via email related to fraud alerts, suspicious transactions, account freezes, and dispute-related concerns.

Investigate flagged transactions and accounts to identify potentially fraudulent activities.

Verify customer information and transaction details to prevent unauthorised or suspicious activities.

What is needed for this role:

Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

13 years of experience in fraud analysis, risk operations, or customer support in fintech,banking,or payments.

Excellent written communication and typing skills for chat interactions, LEA inquiries & stakeholder management.

Ability to work in shift-based environments, including weekends if required

Brownie Points for:

Experience mentoring juniors or managing agency/vendor partners.

Exposure to credit or payment products and their risk/compliance nuances. Familiarity with predictive models (churn or upsell propensity) and large-scale marketing automation.
