Job Summary

The Inventory Manager Operations is responsible for managing inventory levels, knowledge of OMS/WMS Systems ensuring stock accuracy, optimizing inventory movement, and supporting smooth operational workflows. The role focuses on inventory control, coordination with operations and procurement teams, and minimizing stock losses and inefficiencies.

Key Control & Management

  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid stock-outs and overstocking
  • Track inventory movement, receipts, transfers, and dispatches
  • Ensure accuracy of inventory records in ERP/WMS systems
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical stock audits

Operations & Warehouse Coordination

  • Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams for inbound and outbound processes
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling of inventory
  • Support daily operational activities to ensure timely order fulfillment

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Implement inventory control procedures and SOPs
  • Identify discrepancies, root causes, and corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare inventory reports (stock aging, slow-moving, fast-moving, shrinkage)
  • Analyze inventory data to improve turnover and reduce carrying costs
  • Share insights and recommendations with management

Vendor & Internal Coordination

  • Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, and finance teams
  • Support vendor deliveries and resolve inventory-related issues
  • Assist in demand planning and replenishment activities

Loss Prevention & Quality Control

  • Monitor inventory losses, damages, and expiry
  • Ensure quality checks and proper documentation
  • Reduce pilferage, wastage, and operational errors

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced operational Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field
  • 4-6 years of relevant inventory or operations experience
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/WMS systems preferred and MS Excel (mandatory).
