Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Foundry Sales Manager based in Chennai. The Foundry Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and developing key relationships with foundry clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating new business opportunities, understanding client needs, providing technical guidance on the use of our fettling shop equipment, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role also involves executing sales strategies, preparing proposals, maintaining strong client communication, and collaborating with internal teams to meet sales targets.
Qualifications
- Sales and business development expertise, including experience in creating and implementing effective sales strategies
- Knowledge of foundry equipment and processes, particularly related to grinding, degating, and cutting
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships
- Technical knowledge or an understanding of engineering concepts relevant to foundry machinery is highly beneficial
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and manage client portfolios
- Ability to work on-site and travel for client meetings as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
