About BrandVelocity

BrandVelocity is building the Agentic Marketing OS for growth-stage consumer brands. Our platform helps consumer brand teams make faster, sharper marketing decisions by combining proprietary brand intelligence, real-time audience and competitive signals, and a suite of AI agents that work across the marketing lifecycle, knowing, deciding, acting, and learning.

We are members of the NVIDIA Inception Program and the Google AI Startup Program, backed by active US-based angel investors, with signed design partners across premium consumer brand categories, and with a founding team that has previously built and scaled ventures.

We are at the stage where the product is ready, the early design partners are engaged, the investor ecosystem is warm, and the opportunity is to build the repeatable revenue and brand motion that takes BrandVelocity from founder-led traction to scalable growth. That is the role we are hiring for.

The Role

Founding Revenue Leader, combining the scope of a CRO and CMO, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the CTO and founding team.

This role starts as a fractional engagement at 3 to 4 days per week, transitioning to a full time role as BrandVelocity crosses agreed revenue and funding milestones. The transition path is explicit and built into the compensation structure.

The Founding Revenue Leader will own the go-to-market motion end to end. Not in pieces, not in silos, but as the integrated discipline of turning an AI-native marketing platform into a category-defining consumer brand partner. This is a senior operator role, not an advisory role. The person in this seat will think, build, close, and teach.

What You Will Own

Four interconnected workstreams, each meaningful on its own and compounding together.

Go-to-Market Design and Execution

•    Define and continuously sharpen the Ideal Customer Profile across consumer brand segments.

•    Build the positioning, narrative, pricing architecture, and sales process that makes BrandVelocity distinct in the MarTech and AdTech landscape.

•    Design the Lighthouse program that converts design partners into long-term customers and credible market references.

•    Build the GTM playbook and feedback loops that let BrandVelocity scale beyond founder-led sales.

Brand and Market Presence

•    Own BrandVelocity's voice in market, including thought leadership, founder positioning, and category narrative around agentic marketing and applied AI.

•    Shape our visibility across modern marketing intelligence platforms and AI-native discovery channels.

•    Build the content and communication cadence that establishes BrandVelocity as the authority in this category.

Design Partner Acquisition and Revenue

•    Carry the number. Close the first wave of paid design partners directly, across respectable consumer brand logos.

•    Work shoulder to shoulder with the founders in the early deals, and progressively take ownership as the motion stabilises.

•    Build the pipeline engine that can sustain growth beyond the founder network.

Product-GTM Partnership

•    Bring real market feedback back to the product and engineering team in a structured way that sharpens the platform.

•    Work closely with the CTO and product leadership to align roadmap priorities with what wins deals in market.

•    Help the product become sharper, not just larger, over the first two to three quarters.

Who We Are Looking For

The right person has 10 to 15 years of experience, with a meaningful portion in senior revenue or marketing leadership roles at B2B SaaS, MarTech, AdTech, or adjacent platform companies selling to consumer brand CMOs, founders, or senior marketing leaders.

We are especially interested in operators who have been employee 1 to 20 at a venture-backed startup that grew to meaningful revenue, or who have led revenue or marketing at a consumer brand or MarTech company with clear growth outcomes. Founder experience is a plus. Experience selling to Indian consumer brand leadership, across D2C, retail, and premium category brands, is highly valued.

You will thrive in this role if you

•    Think like an owner and a builder, not a specialist passing through.

•    Have sold complex platforms to marketing leaders and understand how consumer brand decisions get made.

•    Write well, think in systems, and can hold a conversation with a founder, a CMO, or an engineer with equal ease.

•    Believe that the best GTM motions are built with the product, not around it.

•    Are comfortable in the ambiguity of early-stage company building, and bring energy to making things work with small teams.

Engagement Structure and Compensation

•    Fractional engagement at 3 to 4 days per week, transitioning to full time as BrandVelocity crosses agreed revenue and funding milestones.

•    Compensation is commensurate with experience, combining monthly retainer, success-linked incentives, and meaningful equity in BrandVelocity.

•    This is a Founding Team grant, not a standard ESOP. The equity structure reflects the seniority and strategic nature of the role.

•    Bengaluru-based. Regular in-person collaboration with the founding team is essential.
