About the Company:

We are building a next-generation AI-native development platform designed to enable

humans and autonomous agents to collaborate on software systems.

Unlike traditional AI coding assistants, our platform is stateful, agent-driven, and

infrastructure-aware. It supports multi-file edits, long-running task execution, versioned

workflows, and integration with real backend systems.

Our product sits at the intersection of AI-driven application generation, developer tooling

workflows, modern IDEs, and autonomous agent systems.

We are looking for a Founding Product Designer who can design complex, system-level

user experiences for AI-assisted software development.

Role Overview:

This is not a traditional UI role focused on visual polish or marketing surfaces.

This role centres on designing interaction systems for:

- Autonomous agent workflows

- Multi-step state transitions

- Multi-file code modifications

- Version history and rollback

- Conflict resolution flows

- Streaming and asynchronous execution states

- Developer-facing dashboards and control panels

- AI transparency, confidence indicators, and trust calibration

You will define how users understand, inspect, and collaborate with AI systems inside a

production development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define the core interaction architecture of the platform

- Translate complex backend behaviours into intuitive, usable interfaces

- Design workflows for long-running, stateful AI/Agent processes

- Create and maintain a scalable design system

- Establish UX standards that ensure consistency across rapidly evolving features

- Collaborate closely with engineering on feasibility and implementation trade-offs

- Lead structured design reviews and iteration cycles

- Design for failure states, partial success scenarios, and probabilistic outcomes

As a founding team member, you will influence product direction, not simply execute

specifications.

Required Qualifications:

Systems-Oriented Product Design Capability

We prioritise demonstrated capability over years of experience. If you can design

complex, system-oriented products at a high level, we encourage you to apply.

We are particularly interested in candidates who:

- Have designed developer tools, workflow systems, data-heavy SaaS platforms, or

similarly complex interaction models

- Understand state management, asynchronous operations, and multi-step user journeys

- Demonstrate structured, systems-level thinking in their portfolio

- Can articulate trade-offs clearly and reason about product architecture

Technical Empathy

- Comfortable collaborating closely with engineers

- Strong understanding of APIs, version control concepts, and structured workflows

- Ability to design within technical constraints and evolving architectures

- Clear reasoning around implementation feasibility

You are not expected to code, but you should be able to reason structurally about

technical systems.

Design Systems & Scalable UX

- Experience building and maintaining design systems

- Strong command of Figma components, variants, and documentation practices

- Ability to create reusable primitives and prevent UI entropy

- Experience designing for products that evolve rapidly

AI Interaction Literacy (Strong Advantage)

- Understanding of AI system behaviour, limitations, and uncertainty

- Ability to design for trust, transparency, and confidence signalling

- Experience with AI-assisted workflows is a significant advantage
