AIRA is building a memory-native AI companion that delivers responses in milliseconds and never forgets. We need a Founding Engineersomeone who's equal parts hands-on full-stack builder and technical bar-setterto ship our next-gen chat experience, set engineering culture, and drive critical decisions from day one.
What You'll Own (First 90 Days)
- Ship a blazing-fast chat MVP with latency <150ms (p95)
- Own end-to-end engineering: React 19, Next.js 15, Node, FastAPI/Python
- Implement orchestration layer with LangGraph/LangChain, vector DB retrieval, and caching layers
- Deploy CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), Docker containers, and robust observability (Grafana)
- Document AIRA Engineering Standards in clear RFCs, enforcing high-quality code and thoughtful trade-offs
Must-Have Stack
- Frontend: React 19 (concurrent rendering), Next.js 15, TypeScript, Tailwind
- Backend: Node.js, FastAPI (Python async), WebSockets, REST/gRPC
- AI Plumbing: LangGraph/LangChain, vector DB (Pinecone/LanceDB), prompt engineering
- DevOps: Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes (GKE/EKS), Grafana, automated rollbacks
- Quality: Jest, Playwright, CI/CD
