Job Description

About the Role : We are looking for a highly driven, structured, and intellectually curious individual to join the Founder's (CEO's) Office as an Intern. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role for someone with a strong interest or background in Communications, PR, Events, and Strategic Initiatives.

Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership, you will support company-wide priorities related to brand building, outreach, strategic projects, and market presence. You will play a key role in representing Varaha at industry events and conferences, strengthening external communications, and supporting strategic decision-making through research and insights.

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable with ambiguity, can think strategically while executing hands-on, and is eager to learn how leadership decisions are shaped and implemented in a fast-growing climate tech company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Conference Management
  • Support planning and end-to-end execution of industry conferences, roundtables, and external events aligned with business objectives
  • Coordinate with speakers, partners, vendors, and internal teams for seamless event execution
  • Assist with event outreach, registrations, logistics, and on-ground coordination
  • Track event outcomes, attendee engagement, and post-event feedback to assess impact and learning
  • PR, Communications Outreach
  • Create, edit, and curate content for the website, blogs, newsletters, social media, and presentations
  • Support external communications including press releases, media outreach, announcements, and thought leadership initiatives
  • Help maintain a consistent brand voice across all external communication channels
  • Track media coverage and assist in coordination with external PR agencies or partners
  • Support outreach efforts with industry stakeholders, partners, and ecosystem players
  • Strategic Initiatives CEO Office Support
  • Assist the CEO's Office on strategic, cross-functional initiatives and priority projects
  • Prepare briefs, decks, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support coordination across teams to ensure timely execution of key initiatives
  • Market Research Insights
  • Conduct industry, competitor, and market research within climate tech, sustainability, and carbon markets
  • Analyze trends, stakeholder expectations, and market positioning
  • Prepare concise research notes, summaries, and presentations for leadership and internal teams

Qualifications

  • 03 years of experience in Communications and PR, or leadership roles in high-growth organizations.
    • Background in agri-tech, climate-tech, sustainability, or rural operations is a strong plus.
    • Experience working with distributed teams or large on-ground networks.
    • Comfort managing ambiguity, complexity, and multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Strong communication, executive presence, and ability to work closely with CXOs.
    • Passion for climate action, impact at scale, and solving challenging real-world problems
