Founder's Office Associate

Build it inside. Consult on it outside. Own it end to end.

 

Location: South Delhi (On-site)

Work Schedule: 6 days/week

Compensation: ₹5–₹9 LPA (Fixed) + Variable Pay + Incentives

Experience & Level:

  • Associate: 2–3 years of relevant experience
  • Senior Associate: 3–5 years of relevant experience

Final title and compensation calibrated based on your background.

Reporting to: Founder.

About Prime Ambit

Prime Ambit Private Limited is a technology and consulting firm focused on AI, Web3 infrastructure, automation systems, and scalable digital architecture. We are currently launching a comprehensive HR consulting and services sub-brand, and we need a strong operational lead to build our internal infrastructure while supporting external consulting mandates.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role working directly with the Founder across three areas: driving daily operating rhythm and execution, building internal People Operations from the ground up, and supporting delivery of external HR consulting projects.

What makes this different from most Founder's Office roles is the dual exposure — you'll build a company's HR infrastructure from the inside while learning to advise other companies on theirs. Very few roles at this level offer both.

We're a small team (<10). You'll go from tracking a client deliverable in the morning, to processing payroll by afternoon, to prepping a weekly review deck before end of day. This is not a passive coordination role. You will own outcomes, not just tasks.

What You Will Do

1. Founder's Office Execution

  • Translate the Founder's strategic priorities into daily execution across all teams (sales, tech, design, delivery).
  • Build and maintain a Master Execution Tracker — clear owners, deadlines, evidence-based status updates.
  • Prepare business decks, MIS dashboards, proposals, and reports to support decision-making.
  • Act as the first line of defense for operational escalations — always with proposed solutions, not just problems.
  • Bring structure to recurring rhythms — weekly reviews, goal tracking, follow-ups, documentation.

2. Internal People Operations

  • Own the full employee lifecycle: sourcing, screening, onboarding, exits.
  • Build HR hygiene — onboarding checklists, contracts, attendance/leave tracking, SOPs.
  • Handle monthly payroll, compliance documentation, and employee records.
  • Run structured performance appraisal cycles with clear expectations.

 

3. Client HR Consulting Delivery

  • Support delivery of external mandates across HR Strategy & Org Design, Performance Management, L&D, Compensation & Benefits, and Digital HR Transformations.
  • Track client deliverables, service metrics, and closure timelines week-on-week.
  • Coordinate between internal teams and client stakeholders for quality and timely fulfillment.

4. Sales Enablement & Pipeline

  • Track outbound activity, lead volumes, and meeting schedules to ensure clear next steps for the sales team.
  • Maintain pipeline hygiene — all leads and touchpoints documented in trackers/CRMs.
  • Support the Founder with research and collateral for business development conversations.

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

  • People Operations runs clean — payroll is smooth, recruitment pipelines are active, onboarding has a process, records are up to date.
  • The Master Execution Tracker is live, accurate, and relied on daily.
  • Client deliverables are on schedule. Sales pipeline has clear documentation. Every lead has a status, every meeting has a next step.
  • The Founder's bandwidth has noticeably freed up because you're catching what used to fall through the cracks.

Who This Role is For

  • 2–5 years of experience. The title on your last job matters less than what you actually did.
  • Generalist by instinct — you don't draw lines around my job and not my job.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills. You rely on trackers and data, not memory.
  • Excellent written and spoken English — clear, professional, direct.
  • Not above unglamorous work — payroll, attendance sheets, CRM updates, follow-up emails. You see these as problems to solve well, not tasks beneath you.
  • Calm under pressure. Comfortable with ambiguity. High ownership energy.

 

This Role is NOT For You If:

  • You need remote/hybrid or a predictable 9-to-5 environment.
  • You prefer a single HR lane and don't want involvement in business operations, consulting delivery, or cross-team tracking.
  • You think People Ops is admin work beneath a Founder's Office title.
  • You need defined role boundaries, fixed scopes, and established systems already in place.

 

Good to Have (Not Required)

  • Startup or founder's office experience.
  • Exposure to recruitment, HR operations, or HR consulting.
  • Familiarity with Notion, Google Workspace, or any HRMS/ATS/CRM.
  • Basic understanding of Indian payroll compliance (TDS, PF, ESI, etc.).
