Fortinet Security Trainer

Role & Responsibilities:

• In-depth, practical knowledge of FortiGate Firewalls (NGFW features, policies, VPN, security profiles) and FortiManager (centralized management, device provisioning, policy packages).
• Familiarity with related Fortinet products (FortiAnalyzer, FortiAuthenticator, FortiSwitch, FortiAP) would be a plus.
• Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive training materials (manuals, guides, exercises) using Microsoft Word.
• Create engaging and informative presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proactively stay updated on the latest Fortinet product releases, features, vulnerabilities, and best practices (NSE certifications, release notes, community).
• Continuously integrate new knowledge into training content and delivery.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain Fortinet training lab environments (physical/virtual - FortiGate, Forti Manager, clients, network simulators).
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to plan and execute the training calendar.

Requirements:

• Any bachelor degree in IT or a relatable field.
• Any Fortinet Certification (NSE 4, NSE 5, NSE 6, NSE 7, CCNA, Security+, etc.) would be an added advantage.
• Proven prior experience in technical training delivery (corporate training, workshops, bootcamps, or coaching) is essential.
• Strong hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting FortiGate firewalls.
• Solid understanding of core networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching) and security concepts (VPN, Firewalling, UTM).
