Description
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations with a focus on safely and efficiently moving materials using a forklift.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from delivery trucks and containers.
- Ensure the safe and efficient handling of products during storage and transportation.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and storage locations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Skills and Qualifications
- 10-15 years of experience in operating forklifts and warehouse operations.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, etc.).
- Proficient in inventory management software and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads.
