Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior Engineer Forging Maintenance to oversee and drive maintenance activities in our forging shop. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in forging equipment maintenance, project execution, and automation systems (PLC, SCADA, HMI, and Robot programming). This role is critical in ensuring the high availability, reliability, and efficiency of forging operations through preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, as well as continuous improvement initiatives.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day maintenance of forging shop equipment and machinery to ensure minimal downtime.
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance (PM/PDM) activities using SAP systems.
- Lead improvement and modification projects aimed at equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety.
- Troubleshoot and program PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems; perform root cause analysis of automation issues.
- Develop and modify robot programming for forging and material handling operations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute capital projects and equipment installations.
- Maintain documentation for maintenance schedules, breakdown analysis, and project tracking.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards.
- Train and mentor junior team members and maintenance technicians.
