Responsibilities
To achieve 100% production plan as per customer schedule.
To ensure better Overall Plant Efficiency of manufacturing area.
To ensure the timely JH activities of all the machines/equipment's to improve the health of the same.
To plan resources (man, material & machines, tool & dies) in most efficient way to meet the production targets.
To continuously reduce the manufacturing cost to improve the profitability.
To ensure back-up of heavy tools like bolster/cassette & maintenance.
To ensure daily downtime monitoring, Analysis and action plan review with Plant Head
To increase the utilization by continuous improvement in operational down time.
Continuously improving productivity, quality norms and design improvement of heavy tool.
To plan resources (man, material & machines) in most efficient way to meet the production targets.
To prepare monthly and annual budget based on business plan or customer monthly schedule.
To continuously reduce the manufacturing cost to improve the profitability.
To ensure daily production punching in SAP & daily MIS/dashboard review.
To ensure effective daily work management system of department and get it reviewed with the Plant Head.
To ensure 100% adherence to Quality systems, audit processes & customer norms.
To create a safe, healthy work environment and harmonious relationship with employees.
To ensure team building and skill enhancement of team members & multi skilling of operators.
To ensure 100% employee involvement in doing Kaizen to ensure continuous improvement. 5'S implementation of forging shop.
IATF 16949 (QMS), ISO 14001 (EMS) & ISO 45001(OHS) standard requirement practical Implementation in the shop floor-maintaining standard formats, training, procedures to all Concerned and effectiveness monitoring-monthly).
Preparation of weekly shift schedule & submission to HR with the approval of Plant Head.
To control manpower absenteeism and attrition by motivating and training to employees in co-ordination with HR department.
To develop successor through 2nd line employees
