Job Title: Forensic Laboratory Specialist

Project Location: Dubai, UAE

Responsibilities:

Forensic Laboratory Workflow Development:

Ability to plan, design, and implement end-to-end workflows for forensic laboratory operations.

Familiarity with international forensic standards, accreditation requirements, and best practices.

Laboratory Equipment Knowledge:

Strong understanding of forensic laboratory equipment, including capabilities, technical specifications, operational requirements, throughput, and limitations.

Ability to recommend suitable equipment based on project scope and operational needs.

Experience coordinating equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and calibration.

Laboratory Safety and Compliance:

Comprehensive knowledge of forensic laboratory safety protocols, biosafety considerations, hazardous material handling, and contamination control.

Understanding of relevant local and international regulations, compliance requirements, and quality assurance processes.

Procurement and Technical Evaluation:

Experience preparing equipment lists, technical specifications, and procurement packagesAbility to review vendor proposals, conduct technical evaluations, and support procurement decisions.

Coordination with suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders during procurement and implementation.

General Skills:

Strong communication and documentation skills

Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams

Familiarity with project timelines, deliverables, and coordination requirements.
