We are seeking a skilled and experienced Foreman to lead our construction team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and a proven track record of successful project execution. As a Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, and managing the workforce to meet project deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on construction sites
- Coordinate and oversee work schedules and tasks for construction workers
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members
- Monitor progress and report on project status to management
- Train and mentor junior staff and crew members
- Maintain inventory and order materials as needed
- Resolve conflicts and issues that arise on-site
Skills and Qualifications
- 1-10 years of experience in construction or related fields
- Proficient in construction management software and tools
- Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Certification in construction safety (e.g., OSHA) is a plus
