Role Description

A Marine Project Foreman with TAB Gantry experience is required for our Mumbai based project, responsible for supervising on‑site marine construction activities involving gantry‑based piling, TAB (Temporary Access Bridge) works, and heavy lifting operations. Have to ensure safe, efficient execution of tasks such as pile driving, sheet piling, barge/gantry movement, and equipment coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise day‑to‑day marine construction activities (jetty, wharf, breakwater, diaphragm wall, pontoons).
  • Operate and oversee TAB gantry systems used for:
  • Pile positioning
  • Gantry movement
  • Load testing
  • Alignment and balancing
  • Coordinate with engineers for pile driving, boring, concreting, and marine structure erection.
  • Manage workforce, riggers, operators, welders, and fitters.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards, marine safety protocols, and equipment load limits.
  • Monitor gantry stability, load distribution, and balancing during operations.
  • Plan material movement using gantry cranes, pontoons, barges, and vibro hammers.
  • Maintain daily progress reports and ensure timely completion of activities.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5–12 years of experience in marine construction (jetty, port, harbour, piling).
  • Hands‑on experience with TAB gantry systems used in end‑on method marine works.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Marine piling (bored cast‑in‑situ, driven piles)
  • Sheet piling with vibro hammers
  • Gantry & pontoon operations
  • Heavy lifting equipment
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and execute as per method statements.
  • Excellent team management and safety supervision skills.
