Role Overview
As the Food Technology Officer, you will take
end-to-end ownership of food technology, product innovation, and standardization at Kefilo. You will work closely with the founder, nutrition, and operations teams to design products that are
safe, scalable, cost-efficient, and compliant, while staying innovative.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Innovation
- Design and develop food products, meal components, and functional food concepts
- Work on shelf-life extension, ingredient optimization, and clean-label formulations
- Lead MVP trials, pilot batches, and product iterations
Process & Quality
- Create SOPs for food preparation, storage, packaging, and distribution
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards
- Guide packaging selection for freshness, shelf life, and scalability
Compliance & Scale Readiness
- Support FSSAI compliance, labeling, and documentation
- Prepare products and processes for multi-city scaling
- Coordinate with vendors, kitchens, and manufacturing partners
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with nutrition, marketing, and operations teams
- Translate food technology concepts into consumer-friendly products
- Support innovation roadmaps and long-term R&D strategy
