Role Overview
We are looking for a
Food Product Officer who can
own the end-to-end development of innovative food products and meal systems aligned with health outcomes, scalability, and real-world usability.
This is not a kitchen role this is a
product + strategy + innovation role where food meets systems thinking.
Key Responsibilities1. Product Innovation & Development
- Design condition-based meal programs (weight loss, diabetes, PCOS, gut health, etc.)
- Build transformation journeys, not just meal plans
- Innovate event-based food packages (students, corporate, medical recovery, etc.)
- Develop scalable food formats (ready-to-eat, semi-prep, smart portions)
- Menu Engineering & Standardization
- Create highly optimized menus balancing cost, nutrition, and taste
- Standardize recipes for consistency across kitchens, stalls, and hospitals
- Build SOPs for preparation, packaging, and delivery
- Healthcare Integration
- Collaborate with doctors, nutritionists, and clinics
- Develop medical-grade meal solutions for hospitals and patients
- Ensure alignment with clinical needs and recovery goals
- Product Testing & Iteration
- Run pilots across stalls, subscriptions, and B2B setups
- Collect customer feedback and continuously refine products
- Build case studies for scalability
- Cost Optimization & Supply Efficiency
- Work on ingredient sourcing strategies
- Maintain balance between affordability and quality
- Design systems that can scale across multiple locations
- Future-Ready Innovation
- Explore integration with smart kiosks, automation, and AI-driven food systems
- Work closely with operations and engineering teams to redesign food delivery formats
What We're Looking For
- 14 years of experience in food product development / nutrition / cloud kitchen / healthcare food
- Strong understanding of nutrition + consumer behavior
- Ability to think in systems, not just recipes
- Experience in menu design, costing, and SOP creation
- Interest in healthcare + food intersection
- Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable with ambiguity and building from scratch
