Rolls and Responsibility:

  • Market Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote food testing services across B2B and B2C segments.
  • Client Acquisition & Retention: Identify potential clients in food manufacturing, hospitality, and retail sectors; build long-term relationships.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and manage digital, print, and event-based campaigns to increase brand visibility and service uptake.
  • Technical Collaboration: Work closely with lab teams to understand testing capabilities and translate them into compelling marketing messages.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Stay updated on FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, and other food safety standards to align marketing with compliance needs.
  • Content Development: Create brochures, case studies, presentations, and social media content tailored to industry stakeholders.
  • Lead Generation & Conversion: Use CRM tools to track leads, analyze conversion rates, and optimize outreach efforts.
  • Event Participation: Represent the company at food expos, trade fairs, and industry seminars to network and promote services.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer feedback to refine positioning and offerings.

Technical & Scientific Expertise

  • Food Chemistry: Understanding of chemical composition, reactions, and interactions in food products.
  • Analytical Techniques: Familiarity with methods like HPLC, GC-MS, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and titration used in food testing.
  • Microbiology & Contaminant Detection: Knowledge of microbial analysis and chemical contaminants (e.g., pesticides, heavy metals).
  • Nutritional Labeling & Composition Analysis: Ability to interpret and market products based on chemical and nutritional profiles.
  • Preservatives & Additives: Insight into the role and regulation of food-grade chemicals.

Marketing & Business Skills

  • Technical Marketing: Translating complex chemical and food testing data into customer-friendly messaging.
  • Regulatory Marketing: Promoting services aligned with FSSAI, ISO 22000, HACCP, and Codex standards.
  • B2B Client Engagement: Building trust with food manufacturers, processors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Digital Campaigns: Running targeted campaigns for food safety services using SEO, SEM, and analytics.
  • Event Marketing: Representing the brand at food expos, safety summits, and technical conferences.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Cross-functional Coordination: Working with lab teams, R&D, and regulatory experts to align marketing with technical capabilities.
  • Scientific Writing & Content Creation: Crafting brochures, white papers, and case studies with chemical accuracy.
  • Training & Demonstrations: Conducting client workshops or webinars on food safety and testing protocols.
