Job Title: Food Co-Founder (Equity Only) Kefilo

Location: Remote-flexible (Bhubaneswar preferred)

Compensation: Equity-based role (No fixed salary until funding)

About the Role

Kefilo is building a next-generation wellness & functional foods brand with multiple verticals planned ahead. We are looking for a Food Co-Founder who has strong experience in culinary innovation, food product development, cloud kitchen/restaurant operations, or packaged FMCG foods and is willing to join us in an equity-only co-founder role.

Equity Structure (3-line model)
  • 34 rounds of discussions 1-month NDA-based working cohort.
  • Cofounder agreement + equity finalisation post Pvt. Ltd. registration & funding.
  • 5-year vesting; compensation activates after funding (building a 25+ member equity team).
About Kefilo

Kefilo is evolving beyond its origin (HGK) into a multi-vertical food & wellness company. Over the next 68 months, we are building:

  • A cloud kitchen base + functional food lines,
  • High-nutrition SKUs, beverage mixes, dips, fermented foods, and smart-packaged wellness products,
  • A scalable operations system, R&D pipeline, and brand identity for national expansion.
You Will Lead1. Food Innovation & R&D
  • Develop new SKUs (meals, functional foods, beverages, snacks, gut-friendly wellness lines).
  • Work closely on recipe development, testing, quality control, costing, and consumer trials.
2. Kitchen & Production Operations
  • Build and manage kitchen operations, hygiene, team structure, and daily workflow.
  • Implement SOPs for production, packaging, sourcing, and inventory management.
3. Brand & Product Strategy
  • Define food philosophy, quality guidelines, and product roadmap.
  • Translate market trends into commercially viable SKUs (online + offline).
4. Business Expansion
  • Set up micro-kitchens in Bhubaneswar; plan expansion strategy for multiple verticals.
  • Collaborate with founders on scaling operations and preparing investor-ready models.
5. Leadership & Team Building
  • Build kitchen team, R&D support, vendor network, and supply chain partners.
  • Lead culture, discipline, and execution across food operations.
Who Should Apply

  • Strong understanding of flavors, nutrition, costing, production, hygiene & safety.
