Key Responsibilities
Food Service & Menu Management
- Plan and manage menus for VIP guests ensuring high-quality food service delivery
- Design weekly cafeteria menus with balanced nutrition and variety
- Conduct food and beverage taste checks before service to maintain quality standards
- Monitor quality of raw materials and ingredients used in food preparation
Catering & Facility Operations
- Oversee daily catering, housekeeping, and cleaning operations
- Coordinate smooth functioning of cafeteria and food service areas
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of kitchen equipment
- Monitor operational efficiency across all hospitality service areas
Vendor & Contract Management
- Manage cafeteria and catering vendors effectively
- Handle contract negotiations and performance evaluations of vendors
- Ensure vendor compliance with service standards and contractual obligations
- Maintain strong relationships with service providers to ensure quality delivery
Health, Safety & Compliance Management
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Monitor gas bank operations and ensure safety compliance
- Implement systems for tracking food expiry and stock rotation
- Maintain standards for safe handling, storage, and preparation of food
Waste & Inventory Management
- Track and record waste disposal activities and ensure proper waste management
- Develop and implement waste reduction and food management strategies
- Monitor inventory levels of food materials and consumables
- Ensure efficient utilization of resources and reduce wastage
Guest Experience & Complaint Handling
- Address guest complaints promptly and ensure effective resolution
- Maintain high standards of hospitality and service quality
- Ensure a positive and seamless guest dining experience
- Continuously improve service delivery based on feedback
Team Coordination & Supervision
- Supervise housekeeping, catering, and support staff
- Ensure coordination between kitchen, service, and facility teams
- Promote teamwork, discipline, and service excellence
- Support training and skill development of staff
