The Business Management team within the Global Markets division of Jefferies is a highly analytical and process-driven team providing direct support to senior management across the Fixed Income franchise.
The role is within the Mumbai Fixed Income Business Management team, reporting into the Global Fixed Income COO organization and supporting High Yield, Investment Grade Credit, Rates, FX, Emerging Markets, Municipals, and Mortgages.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Senior Management Reporting & Analytics (Primary):
Act as a central point of contact for Global Sales and Client Revenue Analytics.
Analyze business trends and develop reports, dashboards and management metrics.
Partner with Sales, Trading, and Infrastructure teams on client initiatives.
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports and plans.
Analytics & Business Intelligence (BI) Support
Build and maintain reports, dashboards and recurring analytics in approved Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI/Quicksight/Qlik)
Perform data quality checks (completeness, duplicates, mapping issues, outlier review) and escalate exceptions with proposed fixes.
Create trend analysis and driver views (e.g., revenue attribution, wallet share changes, coverage effectiveness, client engagement).
Support automation of manual reporting processes using templates, scheduled refreshes, and repeatable workflows.
Partner with onshore COO/analytics to translate business questions into clear metrics, filters, and visualizations.
Daily Sales & Client Management:
Monitor daily sales production and trading activity for accuracy.
Manage sales credit processes, amendments, and journals.
Support client and research management processes.
Data Quality:
Identify data quality issues and drive remediation.
Enhance CRM data governance and controls.
Project Management:
Lead Business Intelligence, reporting, and automation initiatives.
Drive process improvements and system enhancements.
The role requires an assertive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are a must. Candidates must have the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects with time-sensitive deadlines. Ad hoc projects are common and necessitate flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly.
