Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated
Fitter Technician to support our maintenance operations in a
stainless steel pipe and tube manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with
hydraulics ,
pneumatics ,
cranes ,
pilger machines , and
breakdown maintenance in an industrial setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of all plant and shop floor machinery including pilger machines , hydraulic presses , and pneumatic tools .
- Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic systems and pneumatic systems to ensure smooth and safe operation.
- Carry out cranes maintenance (EOT/gantry) as per schedule and ensure lifting equipment functionality.
- Fit and assemble mechanical components for repairs or installations across the stainless steel production line.
- Identify and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic parts and ensure minimal downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of performed maintenance tasks, parts used, and time taken.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team and production supervisors for planned maintenance and shutdown activities.
- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations during maintenance work.
