FITTER MACHINIST

Description

We are seeking a skilled Fitter Machinist to join our manufacturing team in India. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in machining and fitting processes, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and operate various machining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings and schematics to manufacture components accurately.
• Set up and operate various machines including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
• Perform precision machining and fitting of components to meet specified tolerances.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards during machining processes.

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-10 years of experience in machining and fitting roles.
• Proficiency in operating lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders.
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Experience with CNC machines is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
