We are seeking an experienced Fitter Machinist to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in machining and fitting, with the ability to work with various tools and equipment to produce high-quality components.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Operate and maintain various types of machining tools and equipment.
- Perform fitting and assembly tasks to create components and systems.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery and tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1-10 years of experience in machining or fitting roles.
- Proficiency in operating lathes, milling machines, and other machining tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and engineering concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Basic knowledge of materials and their properties.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
