KEY DELIVERABLES:
- Maintain FireSafety standards specified under ISO 14001, ISO 45001 management system as well as system and actions required for maintaining Occupational Health, Safety & Environment Policy.
- Identify improvement areas and implementing adequate measures to train the work force on safe work practice in the work sites and promoting zero accident culture
- Review new projects designs to recommend structural fire safety norms as per NBC-2016 and ensure implementation.
- Conduct periodical group level Risk committee meetings and update the risk mitigation measures.
- Conduct fire safety inspection and audits for all facilities, identify any potential breaches of fire and life safety standards and norms to initiate corrective actions.
- Conduct Building evacuation drills and exercises at units and enforce Fire & Safety SOPs. operating procedures.
- Identify technical fire safety gaps and coordinate with respect project MEP, IT, Interior consultants to initiate fire safety compliance as per statutory norms.
- Coordinate with project managers, Fire vendors of respective projects to guide the fire safety work execution without deviations and monitoring the work progress (as per shop drawings and statutory compliance)
Incumbent profile:
- A result oriented Fire Safety Specialist with 15 years experience in Industrial safety, Fire safety, Process Safety and Occupational Safety in Pharma or Chemical sites.
- Expertise in managing multiple sites and overall functioning of industrial safety and Fire safety. .
- Sound knowledge of national & International Safety standards and guidelines, .
- Building Fire and Life safety codes and regulations Including NBC-2016, Bureau of Indian standards and TAC,NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) code and standards.
Annual Compensation: 20LPA
