1. Job Purpose

To operate a fire tender and fire-fighting equipment during emergency situations and assist in

fire-fighting operations to ensure the safety of people, property and infrastructure.

2. Key Responsibilities

Drive and operate the fire tender safely during emergencies and drills.

Operate fire pumps and maintain adequate water pressure

Handle firefighting equipment such as hoses, nozzles, fire extinguishers and hydrant

systems.

Respond promptly to fire alarms and emergency situations.

Assist firefighting teams in controlling and extinguishing fires.

Conduct routine inspection and maintenance of fire vehicles and firefighting

equipment.

Assist in fire safety drills, training, and emergency preparedness programs.

Maintain records related to vehicle usage, maintenance and equipment checks.

3. Qualification

Minimum 10th Pass (Matriculation) from a recognised board.

Diploma in Fire & Safety Studies from a recognised institute.

Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License.

4. Technical Skills

Knowledge of fire tender and fire pump operation.

Ability to operate firefighting equipment, including:

o Fire Tender and Fire Pumps

o Fire Hoses and Nozzles

o Fire Extinguishers

o Fire Hydrant Systems

5. Experience

23 years of experience in driving heavy vehicles.

Experience in firefighting operations or pump operation.
