Responsibilities
FPS System Design
- Develop detailed FPS design layouts, hydraulic calculations, and technical specifications.
- Use Pipenet for hydraulic analysis of fire water networks, sprinklers, hydrants, and foam systems.
- Ensure designs comply with NFPA, NBC, FM Global, UL, IS codes, and other relevant standards.
Coordination & Technical Support
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including MEP, structural, architectural, and project management teams.
- Provide technical inputs during procurement, vendor evaluation, installation, and commissioning phases.
Documentation & Approvals
- Prepare BOQ, design reports, and datasheets.
- Participate in design reviews and assist in obtaining statutory and authority approvals.
Value Engineering
- Recommend design optimizations for improved safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Keep abreast of new FPS technologies, design software, and global best practices
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in Pipenet (mandatory).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and other FPS design tools.
- Strong understanding of NFPA, NBC, FM, UL, IS standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interdepartmental coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Hands-on exposure to Buildings & Factories, Data Centres, Airports, Metro projects.
