What will your job look like
- Lead FinOps strategy and execution for AWS and multi-cloud environments.
- Analyze monthly cloud spend, identify trends, and implement cost optimization initiatives.
- Partner with business units, finance teams, and technical stakeholders to align cloud usage with budgetary goals.
- Develop business cases for Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and cost avoidance strategies.
- Monitor cloud consumption, detect anomalies, and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide executive-level reporting on cloud financial health and optimization progress.
- Drive adoption of FinOps best practices and tools across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage FinOps frameworks for AWS (and optionally Azure/GCP) End to end.
- Perform detailed cost analysis using AWS Cost Explorer, CUR, and third-party FinOps tools.
- Recommend RI/Savings Plan purchases and validate ROI.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize resource utilization.
- Establish governance policies for tagging, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Conduct Monthly reviews with stakeholders on cost trends and optimization opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications
- BE -Bachelor's in computer, IT, or related field; Master's preferred.
- 1012 years overall IT experience, with 5+ years in FinOps and cloud cost management.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, pricing models, and billing tools.
- Hands-on experience handing the FinOps activity E2E and need to take it closer
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cost Explorer, CUR, and RI/Savings Plan strategies.
- Familiarity with Azure and GCP cost management (added advantage).
- Data-driven decision-making and strong financial modeling capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Cloud Practitioner
- FinOps Certified Practitioner
- Azure or GCP certifications (optional but desirable)
