Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Reporting:
- Preparation of Financial Statements, Balance Sheet, P&L Accounts, and Bank Reconciliation as per Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
- Finalization of accounts, P&L management, and general ledger accounting.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable.
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Ensure compliance with Ind AS and, where applicable, IFRS for group reporting.
Audit & Compliance:
- Coordinate with statutory auditors to close audits within defined timelines (typically within 2 months of year-end).
- Assist in internal audits, statutory audits, tax audits, GST audits, and cost audits.
- Prepare necessary documentation for Internal Financial Control for Financial Reporting (IFCR) and Risk Assessment & Control Matrix (RACM).
Policy & Process Management:
- Draft and implement accounting policies in compliance with Ind AS.
- Ensure proper documentation to support internal financial controls and compliance requirements.
Systems & Tools:
- Hands-on experience with SAP for financial reporting, accounting, and consolidation.
- Utilize financial reporting and analytics tools for accurate and timely management reporting.
Advisory & Coordination:
- Coordinate with external consultants and partners for advisory services and project support.
- Support management in financial analytics, business finance, and budgeting activities.
