Role/ Job Title: Financial Reporting Analyst

Job Summary
We are looking for a finance professional with 34 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, ideally within the banking or NBFC sector. The candidate should have a working knowledge of Indian GAAP and Ind AS, and hands-on experience in assisting with the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reporting. This role offers exposure to the financials of a listed entity and provides an excellent platform to build deep technical expertise in accounting and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with Indian GAAP and Ind AS.
- Support the preparation of financial schedules, and disclosures
- Coordinate with internal teams for data collation, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Contribute to audit processes by preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor queries.
- Monitor updates in Ind AS, RBI circulars, and other regulatory changes affecting financial reporting.
- Assist in automation or process improvement initiatives within the reporting vertical.
- Prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel (lookups, pivot tables, basic macros), Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret large volumes of data.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage timelines and work under pressure during month/quarter-end closures.
- A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the financial reporting domain.
