About the Role
Tyroo is looking for a highly intentful and enthusiastic FP&A Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis in a fast-paced startup environment. The role will work closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to drive data-backed financial decisions, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and KPI tracking
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and rolling plans, tracking actuals vs projections
- Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning, investment analysis, and business decisions
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations using advanced Excel
- Partner with business and functional teams to provide insights for cost control, revenue growth, and efficiency
- Support cost management initiatives and identify savings opportunities
- Improve FP&A processes, reporting accuracy, and data integrity in a startup environment
Mandatory Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA is a plus)
- 23 years of hands-on FP&A / Financial Analysis experience
- Experience in a renowned startup environment (profiles from large consulting firms will not be considered)
- Education from Tier 1 or Tier 2 colleges only
- Strong expertise in:
- Financial Modelling
- Forecasting & Budgeting
- Variance Analysis
- Cost Management
- Advanced Excel skills (dashboards, complex formulas, scenario analysis)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
