About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical FP&A Analyst who will independently lead the financial planning and analysis function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and KPI tracking. This role involves working closely with the CFO and partnering with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead the FP&A function end-to-end, ensuring accurate and timely financial insights.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and performance dashboards.
- Track key business metrics (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Product, etc.) to gather data and support financial analysis.
- Manage cash flow forecasting, expense tracking, and financial controls.
- Support the CFO in strategic financial initiatives, board presentations, and investor reporting.
- Leverage automation tools to streamline reporting and analysis processes.
Key Requirements
- 7+ years of FP&A experience, preferably in a high-growth or SaaS environment.
- Advanced Excel skills, including macros, scenario modelling, and automation.
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of Power BI and Power Query is highly preferred.
- Exposure to FP&A tools/software (Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, etc.) is an advantage.
- Basic experience with Python, SQL, or VBA for automation is desirable.
- Strong understanding of SaaS/Subscription metrics: ARR, MRR, churn, LTV, CAC, ARPU, revenue recognition.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup and deliver high-quality outputs under timelines.
