Job Title: Finance Controller, RK Group
Qualifications and Experience:
- Chartered Accountant with 12- 15 years of work experience.
- Proven leadership in working in a leadership position and managing finance of multiple companies.
- Experience in a trading setup (offline trading/ distribution/ e-commerce) is mandatory. Work experience in promoter led organizations would be preferred.
Technical knowledge:
- Reporting, Audit management and Compliance:
- Complete knowledge of accounting reporting and compliances with expert knowledge in R2R, AP, AR book closing processes.
- Tax compliances with thorough knowledge of GST laws.
- Audit management and secretarial compliances.
- Keen attention on processes to improve the quality of reporting and accounts.
Fund Management and treasury:
- Design strategies for better use of trade facilities and optimise treasury costs.
- Ensure facilities are financed and insured on time.
- Negotiate with bankers for facilities and comply with sanction requirements
Business partnering and enabling decision making:
- Ability to support decision making in fast paced environment with robust analysis and dashboards.
- Navigate business expansion through Business Transfer Agreements, Mergers.
- Run annual operating plan with detailed grounds up build-up of business with cross functional participation.
- Causal Analysis of P&L and Balance sheet variances.
Interpersonal skills and attitude:
- Ability to work with multiple senior stakeholders from finance as well as business teams.
- Must be willing to take up process improvement initiatives at the ground level and get hands dirty.
Location: Bangalore, with travel as required.
Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience. For the right candidate, compensation is not a constraint.
