Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Controller based in Indore. The Financial Controller will oversee financial reporting, prepare accurate financial statements, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Key duties include managing accounting operations, analyzing financial data, preparing budgets, and providing insights for decision-making. The role contributes to process improvement initiatives and ensures the accurate documentation of financial processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review financial statements and reports in compliance with US GAAP.

Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and accruals.

Ensure accuracy and complete financial data across all ledgers.

Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.

Maintain documentation and support schedules for year-end reporting.

Research and interpret accounting standards and provide guidance on their application.

Support process improvements and strengthen internal financial controls.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams for reporting, budgeting, and analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-6 years of post-qualification experience.

Strong knowledge of Accounting Concepts and US GAAP Standards.

Experience in year-end closing, financial reporting, and audit coordination.

Proficient in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with US clients or outsourced accounting firms.

Knowledge of internal controls (SOX compliance) and reporting standards.
