Mega Corp is building a next-generation, multi-vertical lending platform spanning sustainable finance, government-linked payroll financing, and unsecured MSME lending. We are at a zero-to-one stage, creating institutional-grade systems from the ground up.

This is a financial architecture and capital strategy mandate — not a maintenance role.

Role Overview

We are looking for a high-calibre finance leader (with a minimum of 10 years of experience) who combines strong financial control discipline with capital markets expertise. The role involves building the company's financial backbone while actively leading debt capital strategy, with a clear 3–5 year pathway to CFO.

Key Responsibilities

Capital Strategy & Fundraising

  • Raise debt from banks, NBFCs, ESG/impact funds, and PSU pools
  • Lead structuring, negotiations, and lender documentation
  • Design scalable and ring-fenced capital pools

Financial Systems & Governance

  • Establish finance function, controls, and SOPs from scratch
  • Ensure RBI NBFC compliance
  • Oversee accounting, audit, taxation, and ERP integration
  • Drive liquidity planning, cash forecasting, and cost-of-funds optimization
  • Implement board-grade reporting and audit-ready processes

Portfolio & Risk Oversight

  • Monitor yield, NIM, ROA, NPAs, and provisioning
  • Build early-warning systems and enforce disciplined unit economics

Team & Institutional Build-Out

  • Hire and scale treasury, MIS, and accounts teams

Implement board-grade reporting and audit-ready processes

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 10 years of exposure in leading finance for NBFC, lending, fintech, or banking industry
  • Should have retail lending and unsecured MSME Lending exposure
  • Proven debt capital raising experience (structured finance preferred)
  • Strong treasury & ALM exposure
  • MBA (Finance); CA/CFA preferred
  • Strong financial modelling, regulatory understanding, and negotiation skills
  • Builder mindset with comfort in zero-to-one environments

What Success Looks Like (24 Months)

  • Institutional-grade finance function established
  • Optimized cost of capital
  • ESG capital pools activated
  • Strong ALM discipline embedded
  • Clear progression toward CFO

Why Join

  • Ground-floor institutional leadership role
  • Direct board visibility
  • Capital-raising ownership
  • Multi-vertical lending platform
  • Defined CFO pathway (3–5 years)
  • Equity participation opportunity
