Peanutbutter and Jelly Private Limited (About Get-A-Whey), a subsidiary of Heritage Foods Limited, is engaged in curating & retailing healthy desserts, primarily protein Ice Creams, Keto Desserts, Vegan Ice Pops, Low Cal Kulfis and other food products through e-commerce and q-commerce platforms and retail chain stores in India under the brand name Get-A-Way (GAW).

Get-A-Way is a fast-growing D2C ice cream company dedicated to crafting premium products with a focus on innovation and sustainability. As we expand pan-India, we're looking for a seasoned Finance Controller to ensure financial health and strategic decision-making.

Role Overview:

The Finance Controller will oversee all financial operations in QCom,E-com segment, providing leadership in budgeting, forecasting, working capital management and compliance. With 8-10 years of experience, you'll play a pivotal role in scaling our operations while maintaining fiscal discipline.

Role requirements:

• Must be Charted Accountant (others need to apply for this role)
• 6-8 yrs Industry experience in Qcom, FMCG, food manufacturing, or D2C sectors.
• Strong expertise in financial software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
• Proven track record in managing multi-location finances and driving cost efficiencies.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience with pan-India operations and startup scaling preferred.
• Willing to relocate to Mumbai

Core Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term projections for D2C growth.
• Manage accounting functions such as AP/ARl, tax compliance, and financial reporting in line with Indian GAAP/IFRS.
• Conduct financial analysis, risk assessments, and cost optimization to support business decisions.
• Oversee audits, ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., GST, TDS), and implement internal controls.
• Collaborate with leadership on funding strategies, investor relations, and profitability analysis for new product lines.
• Manage all daily accounting activities like income and expenditure.
