Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for managing and improve Gujarat financial performance. Financial Controller will be evaluating and mitigating risk and ensure region is profitable. Support multiple segment directors in decision making for budget achievements.
Key Responsibilities
Managerial Responsibilities
- Lead a team of professionals to achieve our financial objectives, revenue and profitability for the segment
- Work hand-in-hand with Business Development and provide assistance, expertise, and references to jointly grow the business;
Functional Responsibilities
- Responsible for Financial Controlling & business analysis of Gujarat & MP region
- Analyse profitability of sites, turnaround of Low margin/ Loss Making sites, variance on budget v/s forecast, and highlight key issues in financials (material, labour, etc) site specific.
- Tracks rate revision reporting and push operations to bill pending closures
- Responsible for annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting activity for segment
- Preparing and presenting business review on monthly basis
- Track Recovery of DA and Minimum wages from client
- Timely reporting since all activities are time-bound
- Supporting operations in identifying & implementing action plans
- Improvement in Profitability through cost control, Rate Revision, Labour Productivity and other initiatives
- Validation of P&L: prospective, client renewals and organic growth P&L
- Comparison & Benchmark solution with existing location
- Preparation of Capex / Financing Model to derive Payback period / ROI / ROCE
- Challenging operations on food cost, Labour deployment and other expenses
- Presenting CAF for approval as per DOA
- Participation in RFP, due diligence and mobilization (reporting)
- Work in collaboration with Credit controller to ensure timely collections and achievement of DSO targets. Resolve any issues related to collection.
Job Requirements
- Qualifications Professional degree CA, MBA or CFA
- Experience - 7 to 8 years of experience
