Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
- Manage all finance and accounting operations of the company.
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping and timely monthly closing of accounts with appropriate provisions and accruals.
- Prepare and review financial statements in line with current reporting standards.
- Stay up to date with evolving financial reporting practices and implement necessary updates.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Oversee timely and accurate recording and payment of vendor invoices (AP).
- Supervise customer billing and ensure timely collections (AR).
- Serve as the first-level approver for all vendor invoices.
Cash Flow & Budgeting
- Monitor cash flows and forecast funding needs, including foreign currency planning.
- Own the annual budget preparation process and coordinate with departments to consolidate inputs.
Audit & Compliance
- Manage internal and external audits, implement recommendations, and ensure compliance with all statutory regulations.
- Design and monitor internal controls in collaboration with the CFO, and report any deviations.
- Safeguard company assets and identify financial risks with mitigation strategies.
Operations & Team Leadership
- Streamline accounting processes and implement industry best practices and automation initiatives.
- Oversee payroll processing and labor tax compliance.
- Manage banking relationships and financial institution interactions.
- Mentor and lead the finance and accounting team to drive performance and collaboration.
Strategic Initiatives
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend actionable improvements.
- Contribute to financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities to support organizational goals.
