We are seeking a highly accomplished Financial Controller with UK client facing experience to lead the Group's financial strategy and operations. This pivotal role will shape the long-term financial direction of the organisation, ensuring stability, compliance, and sustainable growth. You will oversee all aspects of financial planning, management, and reporting, while acting as a trusted advisor to the Board and senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the Group's business objectives
- Oversee all financial operations including payroll, bookkeeping, forecasting, and reporting and
ensure effective budgetary control, cash flow management, and cost optimisation.
- Safeguard the organisation through proactive risk identification and mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with UK financial regulations, as well as healthcare-specific requirements (GDC, NHS, CQC).
- Ensure the financial health and resilience of the organisation through robust planning, analysis, and risk management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team to deliver operational excellence.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and regulators.
- Occational travel to the UK may be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CA/ACCA/CMA/CPA qualified
- 815+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
- Knowledge of GDC, NHS, and CQC frameworks and UK fincance (preferred)
- Strong knowledge and extensive experience in UK dentistry (essential)
