About the Corporate Finance Team

The Corporate Finance team sits at the center of Zolo's decision-making. This team ensures that what happens on the groundacross cities, properties, and vendorsaccurately reflects in our numbers.

From tracking costs to closing books to explaining why a number moved, the team plays a critical role in helping leadership understand the business clearly and act confidently.

Role Overview Why This Role Matters

As a Finance Analyst, you help turn daily business activity into clear, reliable financial insights. Your work ensures that expenses are tracked correctly, gaps are identified early, and decisions are made using accurate data.

This role is not about passive reporting. It is about owning numbers end-to-end, working closely with operations teams, and making sure the story behind the numbers is understood.

What You'll Do (Day-to-Day Impact)

  • Turn raw expense data into clear reports that leaders can rely on
  • Track costs across multiple cities, properties, and vendors
  • Match books with bank statements, vendor bills, and internal records
  • Support month-end close by preparing accruals and provisions
  • Spot mismatches or unusual numbers and follow up until they are fixed
  • Compare planned vs actual spends and explain the difference in simple language
  • Work closely with operations teams to close open finance issues
  • Improve Excel trackers, templates, and formats to reduce manual effort

Skills You'll Build in This Role

  • Strong understanding of how expenses affect profit, cash flow, and balance sheet
  • Hands-on experience with multi-location and asset-heavy cost structures
  • Confidence in month-end close and reconciliations
  • Ability to explain numbers clearly to non-finance stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel skills and exposure to basic automation
  • Business thinkingconnecting numbers to real-world operations

Who Can Apply

  • B.Com or M.Com (mandatory)
  • CA Inter / CA Finalist or MBA (Finance) is a plus
  • 24 years of experience in finance, MIS, reporting, or similar roles
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with reconciliations and month-end activities
  • Candidates from co-living, hospitality, retail, logistics, or similar asset-heavy businesses are preferred
