Job Summary

The Finance Analyst will support core finance and accounting operations for the India entity, including financial reporting, compliance, analysis, and month-end close activities. The role involves working closely with internal finance teams, auditors, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate financial data, timely reporting, and adherence to Indian statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting & Month-End Close
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Assist in preparing internal MIS.
  • Ensure ledger accuracy and timely submission of close schedules.
  • Accounting Support
  • Maintain books in compliance with Indian GAAP / IndAS and corporate policies.
  • Support fixed assets accounting, prepaid schedules, and expense tracking.
  • Assist with intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
  • Compliance & Audit Support
  • Ensure proper documentation, schedules, and audit evidence.
  • Assist in GST, TDS, Income Tax filings by preparing working papers and reconciliation statements.
  • Vendor Setup and Management
  • Setup Vendors in Concur, Master data management, Invoice processing
  • Invoice upload and review
  • Reconcile vendor statements and payment runs.
  • Help maintain clean AP ledgers and timely follow-ups.
  • Process Improvement & Controls
  • Identify gaps in financial processes and recommend automation or standardization.
  • Maintain and comply with internal controls and finance SOPs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce or finance; CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred.
  • 03 years of experience in finance, accounting, controllership, or FP&A.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on efficiency and accuracy
  • Commitment to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Self-motivated and organized - able to effectively manage competing priorities
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written) with individuals at all organizational levels
  • Able to thrive in a changing and challenging environment
  • Experience using accounting software; preferably NetSuite
