Job Summary

The Revenue Analyst will be responsible for accurate revenue accounting,

recognition, and reconciliation in alignment with company policies and

accounting standards. The role also includes monitoring collections,

coordinating with stakeholders for timely follow-up, and preparing insightful

revenue-related reports to support management decisions and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Accounting & Recognition

Ensure timely and accurate recording of revenue transactions.

Review contracts, invoices, and billing schedules to ensure proper

recognition of revenue. Apply revenue recognition principles in accordance with company

policies.

Reconciliation & Compliance

Perform periodic reconciliations of revenue accounts.

Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues in coordination with

relevant teams.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and audit

requirements.

Collections Management

Track accounts receivable and follow up with customers for overdue

invoices.

Coordinate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to

resolve disputes or delays.

Prepare AR aging reports and escalate collection issues.

Reporting & Analysis

Prepare revenue and collections dashboards and reports for

management review.

Conduct revenue variance analysis and highlight key business trends.

Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Process Improvement

Identify and recommend improvements in revenue processes and

reporting.

Support automation initiatives and system enhancements to streamline

revenue accounting and collections tracking.

Qualifications & Skills

MBA in Finance or related field.

5 years of experience in revenue accounting, reconciliation, or financial

analysis.

Strong knowledge of revenue processes and collections management.

Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite preferred)

and MS Excel (advanced).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy.
