Description

Financial Analyst II, Accounts Receivable

Summary
Join our Global Accounts Receivable team and shape the future of order-to-cash operations for Amazon customers worldwide. You'll serve as a trusted subject matter expert and automation specialist, bridging the gap between Finance Operations and Technology teams to drive process improvements, build and maintain automated workflows, and enable seamless financial operations at scale. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Small Scale Automation (SSA), Agentic AI, VBA Macros, and process automation to optimize AR operations and deliver scalable solutions.

A Day in the Life

As a Financial Analyst II in Accounts Receivable, you'll be at the heart of our operations, working on initiatives that directly impact how we manage customer payments and financial processes. Your day might include managing and maintaining existing automated workflows across RPA, SSA, and VBA Macro platforms, modifying automation code to align with evolving business requirements, and designing new automation solutions to streamline O2C/AR processes. You'll act as the key liaison between Finance Operations and Technology teams-gathering process requirements from business stakeholders, translating them into detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), and raising them with Technology partners for development. You'll provide post-production support by conducting thorough testing of new features and system enhancements rolled out by Tech teams, troubleshoot operational challenges with front-line teams, and analyze performance data using advanced Excel techniques and reporting tools like Tableau and Power BI to identify improvement opportunities. Beyond routine responsibilities, you may support the launch of new business channels, develop comprehensive process documentation, lead time studies to measure operational efficiency, or build dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to leadership.

Together, we're modernizing our processes and tools-leveraging automation, AI, and data-driven insights-to better serve our internal teams and, ultimately, our customers. We value collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and a shared commitment to solving complex financial challenges. Joining this team means becoming part of a community focused on innovation, professional growth, and meaningful impact.
