Job Description

Position Summary:

The Financial Analyst will support the HBK Finance and Billing Department with a focus on financial reporting, invoicing, and accounts receivable (AR) management for both HBK Connect and US-based client engagements. This role requires strong analytical ability, a high level of accuracy, and exceptional ownership in managing deliverables with limited supervision

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce, distribute, and follow up on key financial reports for India leadership and US stakeholders.
  • Take primary responsibility for preparation of invoices for US clients upon completion of tax compliance projects.
  • Prepare and circulate weekly Accounts Receivable (AR) aging reports to US billingreviewers.
  • Assist with monthly follow-up on AR > 90 days, coordinating with US teams for status updates and escalations.
  • Support the initiation, suspension, and reinstatement of team members time-entry authorization in relation to delinquent clients.
  • Assist with monthly closing requirements and financial reporting for HBK Connect (India), including dashboards and performance summaries.
  • Maintain high accuracy in client billing details, rate tables, and engagement specific invoicing requirements.
  • Identify variances, trends, and anomalies in revenue, WIP, and collections to assist leadership in decision-making.
  • Respond to internal and US team requests regarding billing, AR, and financial performance in a timely manner.
  • Support process improvements to enhance billing turnaround time and reportingefficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 14 years of experience in financial analysis, MIS reporting, billing, or AR management (experience with US clients is a plus).
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail; proven experience managing high-volume reporting.
  • Proficiency in Excel (lookup functions, pivot tables, dashboards).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confidence in interacting with senior stakeholder.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and juggle multiple responsibilities across time zones.
