Role Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst to support month-end financial reporting and accounting operations. The role requires strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on experience in upstream and downstream accounting processes, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
Specific Role- Functional Responsibilities
- Support month-end closing activities, including preparation and review of financial reports
- Perform general ledger (GL) analysis and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Manage and support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
- Analyse variances and investigate discrepancies during month-end reporting
- Ensure proper accounting treatment and compliance with accounting standards
- Maintain documentation for month-end workings and audit support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting and reporting issues
- Assist in process improvements and automation initiatives within finance operations
Experience required
- Strong understanding of upstream and downstream accounting processes
- Hands-on experience in month-end reporting and GL reconciliations
- Working knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Solid accounting fundamentals and analytical skills
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain financial data clearly
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1-3 years of experience.
