How will you make an impact in this role

This position is a part of C&FRC IFRS9 Accounting & Reporting (A&R) team and will be responsible to provide financial analytics and month/quarter close. The incumbent will support in developing and maintaining strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, and work with them to strengthen financial integrity and control environment. Primary responsibilities include:

Primary responsibilities include:

.Engage with multiple stakeholders, like market controllership teams, Risk Finance etc. for various market/regional calls. Work towards for issue collation and follow up for resolution to ensure seamless and timely month /quarter close.

.Closely work with market controllership teams and other stakeholders to prepare and consolidate the quarterly management deck for Controllership.

.Provide support to Market Controllers in timely regulatory filings.

.Conduct deep dive analysis & coordinate with multiple stakeholders to provide meaningful insights into period over period movements and underlying drivers.

..Work with a digital mindset - understand, leverage & implement technological changes, conduct effective UATs, highlighting the gaps timely and coordinating with Tech team to address the gaps

.Support smooth conduct of audits and query resolution.

Critical Factors to Success:

.Error free and timely delivery of quarterly decks along-with required disclosures (wherever needed).

.Effective UATs and closure of gaps in collaboration with Product Owner team.

.Identify opportunities for innovation and challenge status quo and bring continuous improvements to our existing processes.

Past Experience:

.Experience with financial reporting particularly in the area of Credit and Fraud Risk reserving

.Experience with accounting and reporting, preferably IFRS9.

.Experience in areas like project management, process governance & control & compliance

.Good knowledge of writing SQLs will be an added advantage

Minimum Qualifications

  • CA/CPA / MBA (from a reputed institution)

  • 2-3 years of financial and accounting experience including reasonable techno-functional knowledge in Macros, VBA, SQL writing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Awareness of IFRS 9 accounting knowledge

  • Knowledge of VBA, SQL

  • Analytical skills with the ability to undertake cause effect analysis
