Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with 13 years of experience in managing accounts, financial reporting and reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quote & Sales Order Creation: Prepare and validate accurate quotes and sales orders in line with pricing, contracts, and approval policies.
- Subscription Management: Manage subscription lifecycles including creation, amendments, renewals, and cancellations.
- Revenue Recognition: Execute revenue recognition in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Billing & Invoicing: Maintain billing schedules and generate timely, accurate invoices for customers.
- Deferred Revenue Accounting: Track, reconcile, and manage deferred revenue balances accurately.
- Contract Review: Review customer contracts to ensure correct financial treatment and compliance.
- Financial & Revenue Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial and revenue reports to support business and audit needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- MBA (Finance) or B.Com from a recognized university.
- 1 - 3 years of proven experience in core accounting roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software like NetSuite, Salesforce, Zuora will be an additional advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office tools, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Correspondences with customers
- Understanding of Quote to Cash process
