- The Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing financial and analytical support for the Finance function. This position will report to the FP & A Finance Sr. Manager and will carry primary responsibility for Forecasting, Planning, Month & Quarter end Book Close, Business Partnering, Vendor & Expense Management and SOX Control. Specific responsibilities include the following:
- Forecasting and Budgeting : Building (a): quarterly forecasts and (b): annual budgets in close collaboration with the finance leaders/business partners / leaders - in-depth analysis of Opex drivers (Personnel Cost, Outside Services, Depreciation, Travel, Repairs, Maintenance, etc.) and driving the forecast / budget review calls to finalize the numbers - preparation of forecast / budget packs - submission to WW / Corporate Finance leaders.
- Month Close : Supporting MEC process - Ensuring in-depth understanding and analysis of actuals, inter department cross charges, passing of Journal Entries and preparation of MEC reporting packs including variance explanations on a high ownership level.
- Reporting : Preparation of the reporting packages for various parameters such as Headcount, Opex trends etc.
- BI Tools : Knowledge and hand-on experience on business intelligence applications.
- A dhocs : Handling all adhoc queries/deliverables from the finance and business.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 8-10 years of business unit financial support / FP&A experience. Prior experience with the Finance function preferred.
- Education: Finance, accounting, economics, or related degree; CA/MBA preferred.
- Strong computer skills, particularly ERP systems, tools, and applications e.g. SAP ECC, SAP SAC, Oracle, Hyperion, Oracle My HR System, SAP BI/BW, SFDC, Excel and PowerPoint
- Highly competent in manipulating and analyzing large amounts of data and drawing key insights.
- An ability to excel with limited direction/supervision and under ambiguous circumstances.
- Know-how on Tableau and Alteryx a Plus
